In order to visit us follow the island’s belt highway (bus station No5, Super Market -N-) and then turn right on the small uphill. The second house on your right hand is our unit.

In the town of Skiathos, you can visit “A.Papadiamantis” Museum who was and is actually one of the most important Greek writers, the Folklore Museum in Panagia Ikonistria Monastery were the first Greek flag created and the Maritime Museum on Bourtzi.

HISTORICAL SIGHTS
In the port of the island, there is a peninsula named Bourtzi, which was used as a fortress during the 13th century. Now is a place for cultural events, exhibitions and theatre.
In the northern side of the island, you can visit the old town, the Medieval Castle(Kastro) which was build in 19th century in order for the natives to protect themselves from the pirates.

The element of religion is intense on the island as there are numerous of churches and monasteries across the island. In the centre of Skiathos three churches are standing out, Cathedral of the Three Hierarchs, Panagia Limnia & Agios Nikolaos.

There are more than 60 beaches across the island. In the southern side of the island, there are numerous, clean, sandy, and fully equipped beaches. Access is also possible with local transportation. In the northern side, the access is possible by car or motorbike. The beaches in the north side are being characterized by the beauty of nature.

As Skiathos is a very cosmopolitan island, places to eat and drink are many in number. Places to eat in Skiathos vary from upscale hotel restaurants by the pool to family taverns in the main town or at the beaches. The seaside taverns in Skiathos have delicious seafood and nice view. The majority of restaurants are found in Skiathos Town, at the narrow streets and also at the port promenade. In Skiathos Town are also the majority of bars and clubs on the island.
