This lovely beach is situated on the northern tip of the island, under the old medieval city of Skiathos. The combination of a swim in the bluish transparent waters and a visit to the old city of Kastro is a unique experience you must not miss while you are in Skiathos. You can reach Kastro very easily on one of the boats running daily from Skiathos to Kastro. If you decide to get to Kastro by road, bear in mind that the combination of road an dirt – road stops at an hour’s walking distance from Kastro. If you are willing to do an hour’s walk, it is a worthwile experience.
